How to Create Dynamic Menus in static WordPress website
Friday, March 22, 2013    8:22 am

When I was creating a WordPress website I noticed that even I added a new page on my Dashboard I was unable to  see it on my front end.

Most of WordPress developers convert the website into WordPress but the menu is left static which makes it very difficult for clients to change the navigation menu in future or add new pages in future.

Adding dynamic menu to your WordPress website is very simple. Follow this tutorial and leave comments with any questions.

First go to your header.php on Dashboard and delete the code which you have used for menus. Now add the following navigation function.

<nav id=”access” role=”navigation”>
<?php wp_nav_menu( array( ‘theme_location’ => ‘primary’ ) ); ?>
</nav><!– #access –>

Once you done this adjust your CSS for Navigation which you can find in default theme. Following video will help you.
