Comparison between Dreamweaver , Photoshop, Web Studio
Thursday, October 27, 2011    10:20 am

If you are a newbie web designer, be ready to encounter different tools that are necessary for your trade. Three programs that might be useful to you are Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Web Studio. It is easy to confuse these three tools. This comparison between Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Web Studio will help you differentiate these three programs.

Dreamweaver. This is a web authoring application from Adobe that allows users to easily preview websites either through the preview pane in the application or in a web browser. Dreamweaver has many nifty features but one of the best is its ability to use third party “extensions” that in turn extends the core functionality of the program.

Photoshop. This is probably the most popular graphics editing program available. Like Dreamweaver, Photoshop is also from Adobe. One of the reasons for the popularity of Photoshop is because it can both work on pixel-based and vector-based images thus eliminating the need to switch from one program to another.

Web Studio. This program is marketed as an “easy to learn web design program” that is perfect for individuals who don’t have any background with web design thanks to its WYSIWIG (what you see is what you get) interface.
